Nobody seems to know but I've seen several half ass posts on the princess forums hinting at this...

But havn't successfully reproduced the effect in game.

I've heard that heal scrolls are getting the benefit of any spell power enhancements and/or items that boost healing spells, but I can't be bothered to actually check that because I'm not touching my healer for the next couple of months except for guild requests for raids.  I have no idea whether this actually has an impact on Reconstruct scrolls since I rarely use them now, but the few that I've used didn't seem to produce unusually large numbers.

Here is a list of the useful spell power prefixes.
Combustion
Corrosion
Devotion
Glaciation
Impulse
Magnetism
Nullification
Potency
Radiance
Reconstruction
Resonance

(I listed Resonance even though it boosts Sonic damage and all of the sonic damage spells are shitty.)

All of the Inferno/Brilliance/etc clickies are pretty much crap now.  +20 spell power on top of what you already have isn't really noticeable.  I don't even bother with the Eardweller because it makes those stupid larvae that take up inventory spaces.


By the way, the "heal scrolls get boosted" information shouldn't really count as Fight Club since there was a long discussion about that on the DDO forums over the course of several threads.

I am 100% convinced that they have a versioning issue they can't get a handle on.

My 'vision' based on dev comments is that each dev has either a vm or a personal box that has server code on it they use to test - and updates/patches are modular.  What happens is stuff gets put into the game and 'fixed' and then 3 months later someone working on another issue or item has an old version of the files - but updated with whatever they are working on.

This causes the file to look *newer* and thus it gets checked in and old bugs resurface.

There are way to many 'this was fixed and suddenly it's back' issues that happen.

But that's just my theory.
