The time wasting exploit is not enough?
More time players spend in game, the more likely they are to spend money to bypass the grind.
It makes more sense if you view DDO as a sophisticated version of farmville.

currently it's 10% of base for stars. I think it used to be 100% of base for stars.
cr30 defenseless runs are 3600 base with 360 per star.

Un fucking real... the semi of decent amounts of exp was the only reason I bothered with the challenges, it gave me something to do when I didn't feel like actually caring about a quest. Way to suck that last spec of goodwill I had towards them out, really fantastic work.

And how do people play this game on such small monitors.

That looks like exactly the same resolution that I see in DDO. My video card can do a higher resolution, but my monitor can't display any more than that.
Anyone have a recommendation for a nice flat screen LCD monitor at a reasonable price? I'd like to pay less than $200 and if I can manage to pay $100, I'll be thrilled.

pope, LCD technology has come a long way. I don't think you can really go too wrong unless you buy a cheap knockoff ( like a sambung). Check this one out:

I have the 23.5" version of this display and love it! The 2ms response time is really nice in FPS games as well.

They used to make more 1920x1200 monitors but since HD TV is 1920x1080, those 1920x1200 ones are harder to find since everyone wants the HD resolution as native.
I enjoy my extra 120 pixels immensely.

Yeah it's tough for me to find a second 24" with 1920x1200. I'm reduced to having my second monitor be a 22" 1920x1080. Luckily it's just for the internets and videos while i'm playing DDO.

I do also, a lot harder to find the 1920x1200+ monitors, stupid low rez HD spec, we would be having cheap 3000x2000 displays by now if it wasn't for that.
Was hoping with apples release of the high rez retina display we would start seeing higher rez monitors again.

Ran time is money last night, down to 4k with 30% pot, 5 stars & Greater tome at 20. Glad I paid money for something that I'll never run again. Nice bait & switch.
