When is the best time to use it to get the most out of it? lvl 8 with 1 xp from 10?

as soon as you hit level 8, when i used the stone it took me to exactly the xp you need to hit level 16 - no credit for any xp after level 8 was reached

I'm not sure if they fixed it, but some bonuses to XP works on the stuff you get from a stone. My friend's triple TR ended up an extra 200k over level 16.

Edit: If this is still working, you want to be as close to level 8 as possible - the more xp you get from the stone, the more bonus xp you end up with.

The bonus xp from the "build your guild" event applied to the stones, and that 200k sounds like the correct amount.

It seems no two glitches are alike in DDO, but when I used a stone for my 6th life I was 2 bubbles past 8th.  I leveled at the trainer strait up to 16 and was 2 bubbles past 16.  Some how the bubbles carried over, rather than their actual xp value.  Wasn't a bad deal far as I was concerned.
