I am betting that it would be difficult to port, just based on the number of distros, desktops, and assorted other issues with Linux. OSX is pretty stable and defined.

The problem is the clusterfuck called X-Window. ( X-Lib, Motif, CDE, KDE, XDCMP... ad nauseam ) All the Linux runs X-Free which is basically a free software built to simulate the above clusterfuck in every aspect. Once it's ported to the Kitty OS getting it on Linux is not hard ( it's mostly a matter of library and system calls )... except for the graphical mess. While we are in the X-mas wish list : I want it ported on Solaris 10, on Sparc ( sun4u ) processor.
