Meh. I have mixed feelings. If you're really trying to get the toughest content in the game beaten quickly, you should have a dedicated healer in party who is ready to heal a 900 hp tank when they get clobbered by an 800 hp one-shot. That healer will probably miss their chance to heal the tank if they were spamming energy drain or slapping it for 30 damage per swing. I speak from experience.
If you're interested in a mediocre healer who can heal a group on EH, than do whatever you want. My 20 fighter could heal an EH group.

I tend to agree. I always ran my healer as a raid and epic healer. I focused on bars and let others deal with everything else. I looked at it as a nice chance to relax.

I just got that impression after you spent 13 pages calling out eladiun for being an interwebs bully when anyone who's been posting on here already knew that. I mean, he's proud of it and hardly tries to hide that at all.

And thats fine plenty of room for those who do want to heal, but id like to see a class I enjoy get better and have a chance at doing more. Currently you really have to plan your build gear it well and still hear "oh you'll never be good as.." that's frustrating and making more and more people just say fuck playing clerics im at the point where if feedback doesn't work this time my days of clericing in ddo is done.
It's not my fault you were born one gigantic asshole..

I hear you. I've kinda put my healer on the back burner because in order to heal and nuke you need to drink pots like a madman (madperson). It would be cool if there was an ED tree that would let a healer regain mana or emit more healing aura as they melee'd. I'd do that in a second.

In DDO you're not supposed to heal and do damage at the same time. Post that idea in the general population forums and see how many barbs you can piss off.

I don't think you need to go all out healing tree on that though - at least that's how I run my FvS in EE, with the odd proc from imp Paralysing and Epic Sirocco and the odd Energy Drain, and on live she is fairly minimally specced for healing after the full devotion enhancement line. No empower healing, and I usually only port a Potency item. Works fine except for the situations with heavy spike damage in EE, and then I swap stuff in. Don't even have the devotion twist twisted in right now I don't think. On EH of course I use a lot more, but healing duties are fairly minimal there.
I really wish Pando would start working for me so I could see the cleric stuff on Lama, I can point count from Forums but I wish I could see how it played. I imagine it will be finevfor duoing which is what I tend to do anyway - hate healing Pugglewuggles, too many bad experiences...

I only pulled out my healer because I had more sp pots that I knew what to do with. I cannot just sit back and heal, I need to do multiple things otherwise my attention strays to the blinking light on the other side of the room.
