I'm not really sure what happened, but from what I gather there was an incident a couple years ago where Gunga and Strake got into it, and Gunga got Strake banned from DDO for a few days, and Strake is still holding a grudge about it even though it happened a long time ago in a game he no longer plays. What am I missing?

I think you're probably missing that they never played on the same server to my knowledge.  Unless Gunga was on Khyber at some point..

Oh, also, Strake mentions dick and you jump right on it.  Way to go Grace Wink

Nah. Strake is trying very hard to paint me in an unfavorable light so that more people on the vault will see me as a bad guy. Maybe I threaten his alpha dog status and he needs a way to keep me part of the pack. I don't think he's doing a very good job, but since I'm not after his top dog status he has nothing to worry about other than his own insecurities. Not that he realizes that by the way he's tantruming.

Well, I don't have a horse in this race, so to speak.  I don't know Strake except for his posts here on the Vault, and I have slightly more exposure to Gunga from the people he used to run with on Argo.

But Strake is talking to Gunga, who's normal shtick is  "insert mom sex comment here", so it seems pretty reasonable to me.

I try not to judge people based on their internet personae which in this case is primarily from what amounts to an anarchic troll zoo in which you go out of your way to be an asshole.
That may or may not be who you are as an individual.  I have no idea.
I didn't say that I don't like you.  I don't even know you.  I said that you don't need any help painting yourself in an unfavorable light.  You do that well enough on your own.

It's interesting to see Gunga on the receiving end at times.

A half-dozen boss Vaulties donated generously with real money to my classroom during a fundraiser in May 2015 to get poor kids books to read. I won't forget that. They know who they are, and they freaking rule.

It is very solo friendly. I have been queing up events and dungeons. Although it takes a few minutes to start I have been surprised by how easy it has been. You don't really need to communicate.

I'm finding the TR getting very squishy in Helms with the devils. Especially those big guys. I think my cleric companion needs an upgrade.

I've been shocked at the number of need-only rollers. Thankfully, there's enough loot that it doesn't really matter.

Grouping has been very easy to do and the pugs do surprisingly well. I, too, am surprised at how quiet the groups are - both voice and party, especially given how well the VC works. What's that, individual volume slider bars? Quick, someone call Turbine and let them know about that "new" technology!

I've done probably a coupla dozen skirmishes/dungeons while leveling, and then 30-40 epic runs at cap, in all that time I heard someone use a mic TWICE, and that was two people in the same group Cheesy

We wiped Cheesy

Completely different to DDO, where it was almost impossible to find a group where people weren't constantly talking regardless of whether anyone wanted to hear them talk Grin

Unfortunately, I have no idea what foundry quest it was, as someone else picked it. It was so good that I tipped the guy despite having no money.

I did the same thing.  I started a foundry quest that is a series of several (forget the name).  After the first chapter, I tipped the guy 250 AD, because it was pretty awesome and he had obviously put in a ton of work.  After playing around with the Foundry myself, I'm amazed at how much effort has gone into some of the quests.
