I would - an AoE DoT that doesn't interfere with any of my other spells except Cyclonic Blast?  It's straight up added DPS.

Wall of fire isn't necessary because it's mutually exclusive with ice storm, which even on a fire sorc is better due to it's CC effect and double proc of shiradi on the initial tick.  Also, if you play with me and use firewall, I'll be putting them out just to piss you off anyway. 

You can use incendiary cloud instead, it works like firewall and doesn't take up a precious level 4 slot.  But the times I'd rather use it instead of ice storm are few and far between.

I looked good and hard at incendiary cloud but I only get 1 lvl 8 spell and Ottos Irresistable is a lifesaver on many occasions.  My DPS is 0 if I am dead...
