According to Feather, those folks were "chaff". Only the best and brightest yet remain at Turbine. Can't ya tell?

This exploit was open for months, and even a week after it went viral they either couldn't do anything or simply didn't care.
Its so amusing how long this bug was around being relatively unnoticed.
Simply playing the inv management minigame every couple days should have put everyone into the duper catagory.
hacks. they all should have been fired years ago. DDO would still be playable

As of this morning, Monday? It's little early to be asking that don't you think?
Look, I'm sure the DDO DMs and Database people will make their way to your account shortly.

It's also a US holiday for some, dunno if for Turbine.
Last person I heard of getting banned was Friday.

A half-dozen boss Vaulties donated generously with real money to my classroom during a fundraiser in May 2015 to get poor kids books to read. I won't forget that. They know who they are, and they freaking rule.

Well if they keep going by the end of the week they are going to ban people while those banned at the onset will be back... That's going to be tough to explain and justify... But well it's Turbine, we can expect anything and everything from them.

If this is true and they are painstakingly doing it by hand, at this stage of the game, after all that's been said and done, then it will be the beginning of the end for DDO.
There's just no trust or respect anymore.

They obviously don't have enough people to support and develop this game... they can't afford to keep the investigations going for a long time... they still have to inflict Mabar lag on us this month, so they'll have to give up their witch hunt soon.

It's also possible (but unlikely) they're doing it in waves as to not overwhelm whoever is "cleaning inventory"

I think this is very likely.
Do a query, produce some suspects, investigate by hand, ban if necessary.
do a different query. repeat.

The problem with this is that, they're basically giving them more time to move/hide their gains, and they've banned < 50% of dupers as best as I can figure.
There's a couple categories for the dupers.
Those who did so, and didn't care about the consequences, especially as turbine as shown not to really go after exploiters or their gains (chestapalooza). Or the just figured a ban would finally break them from DDO as they're not having as much fun.
Those who cared about the consequences and did the duping on a different account and then moved the items around.
Either way, there's still plenty of duped goods still around.

no way they have the bandwith for that. probably just digital decimation and screwing over every 10th bastard to send a message.
