Apparently there is a setting in your .ini file that caps connection speed, I am not at home to try it, can someone confirm if this actually helps?

I have used it in the past to limit bandwidth over satellite connection. It was good fun to have old school Shroud lag in pretty much every quest I was in.

Increasing the number won't matter since the data sent from the server maxes out at a pretty low value. There are some dev posts about it around the time of the TWF nerf.

Ah, I see that they are just using it to speed up loading times. So unrelated to what the setting is actually for...
