I'm looking for something to do with my other completionist.  For the past several months he's been sitting at cap as a chest unlock bot for my main toon, and I want to do something better to do with him.  I'm thinking 12 sorc/6 monk/2 paladin bladeforged with dual shortswords and wraps as backup, but I really don't know much about melee builds.  I'm okay if it turns out to be slightly flavorful, as long as it's fun. 

Heroic feats (10):

1. TWF
2. ITWF
3. GTWF
4. IC: Piercing
5. Power attack
6. Cleave
7. Great Cleave
8: Completionist
9: Master of forms
10: Quicken

Epic feats:
21: Overwhelming critical
24: Improved martial arts
26: Perfect TWF

Enhancements:
Air savant: wind dance (32 AP)
EK: Improved shield/spellsword/martial training (11 AP)
Shintao: deft strikes (7 AP)
Ninja spy: shadow veil/sting of the ninja (13)
Bladeforged: Communion of scribing/Communion of warding/weapon attachment/power of the forge (17 AP)

It occurs to me that spending 32 AP for wind dance is really weak sauce, but I want wings.  I could go 12 monk, but then I lose a bunch of arcane goodies. 

Also, I don't have enough feats for manyshot, unless I give up overwhelming critical which may not be better.   Alternatively, I could just swap to a caster set and dump SP when I need to pretend like I'm doing ranged DPS.

For me, the main reason to make an EK is fun. I'm not building it for the DPS, but for the oddness. I'm currently leveling a 12Sorc/6FVS/2Pal, but I guess also 12FVS/6Sorc/2Monk could work.

Why shortswords?
Going THF instead of TWF would ease things on the feat front and have some synergy with Lord of the Blades faith.

I've been considering rolling up a PDK Eldritch Knight.  I figure the Charisma to hit and damage would work well with it, something like 12 Sorc/6 Fighter/2 Pally (or monk?).
Cha and Con, THFing.  I figure there must be an obvious flaw with the idea, though.  Care to point it out?

Ah, that makes sense then.  I hadn't really looked at what level splits are required for "centered with your favored weapon", but eight looks a bit much.

I'm building one as I go, on a third life character, because I'm an idiot.

Currently at 2 Ftr 2 wiz dwarf.  Planning on going S&B vampire, just for the hell of it, trying to see exactly how much doublestrike I can get.

Anyone know if the Force Burst Cleave from the first EK core counts as a spell for Shiradi purposes?  It's a pretty big AOE...

On my Shiradi caster, I took some EK enhancements and did beat down the dummy just with Eldritch Strikes. There was no extra sonic damage, other elemental damage or random procs.

I honestly look at builds like this though and just wonder why you wouldn't make a druid.

Do you really have to have shadowfade on a toon that has reconstruct  and displace?  12sorc/6ranger/2pally could work well
