I really want to play some Mutant League Football and Hockey again. I found a place to download an emulator (Fusion), and the game, coolrom.com. I researched the site a bit, it seems it was hacked last year, but is reportedly fixed now. Have any of you ever tried this site, and/or Fusion? Do you know if they are safe for downloading and if they work well? Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: And is it legal to do this?

I cannot vouch for the site, but as for ROMs they are legal to own as a backup copy if you own a physical copy of the game. Whether or not anyone cares is another issue.

Nice, I do own actual copies of the games. But they are cartridges, and are hidden in storage along with my 20 year old Sega Genesis.

I'd look for a torrent, on thepiratebay or whatever. I haven't messed with game emulators in forever, but I'm sure there's torrents with the full catalog of whatever game system you care for. Shady ROM download sites are so 1998.

Pain in the ass to go through sometimes, since they're usually archives of each game containing every single version of it, from every country it was released in (as in you'd have an archive for Final Fantasy VI with 50 different versions of it).
Not worth it if you're only interested in specific games, but interesting if you want to try them all to discover good games.
Downloaded the NES/SNES/Genesis sets myself, was quite a lot of work.
I don't really remember the websites I used back then for the small, older consoles roms since my collections for those have been complete for a few years, but those full sets I got on emuparadise. Now all I get is ISOs for Playstation 1-2 games, which I get through torrents.

I'm just not that computer savvy yet, so I've never used a torrent. The one time I visited thepiratebay a few years ago, it infected my PC just from the main page.

I played most of the NES and Genesis games back when they were new, and have mostly fond memories of many of the games. I loved Kid Icarus, Tecmo Bowl, Metroid, Wizards and Warriors, etc, for the NES. Genesis had some awesome games as well; Road Rash II, Mutant Leagues, Madden and NHL series. I'm convinced that not even the game designers could beat me at NHL '94.

There's a bunch of Sega to PC ports on steam, as I recall.
Look for Sega Mega Drive and Genesis classics, can't remember how much they cost but it's a pittance.
