The Skill Focus: Repair at 18 is really Grandmaster of Forms, The planner has issues with 12th lvl monk at 18, and taking Grandmaster at the same time. ~shrug~



@ 9 i can instead take Power Attack, Swap the 2 pally to 2 figher and pick up cleave/great cleave. and then take OC. or i can drop str down and pour it into Wisdom. as it is, i will have a.. 24 base +10 item +3 insight +1 exceptional. for a 38 wisdom. Not sure how "Important" 42 is to gain a what.. 2% chance at a 4th arrow while 10k shoting. but if its "OMG YOU NEED IT OR YOUR BUILD WILL BREAK IN TWO!" i can live without OC. but otherwise, ill keep it as is, take CA at 21, OC at 24, and be happy with it.. XD


Thoughts on how else i can fuk this up.. and.. GO!!

~starts makin poppycorn for the party before heading to work~

With those stats i'd go elf, or give up on combat archery.

If you do consider giving up combat archery, a bladeforged 11ranger/9monk could also end up working quite well with your tome limitations.

why do you want 2fighter? is it for the extra feats or extra actionboosts?

A mix of both feats and boosts. Depending on how feat hungry i am, i might go BF, 2 pally instead of 2 fighter.. or just lesser the pally out.. its up in the air atm. I know my tomes limit a lot of options, but its what i got for that character atm. I mostly play builds i enjoy to play, rather than the "I have to solo EE everything because i need to prove my dicks the biggest". As you can see with my cleric, shes currently a 8 clr/6pally/1 fighter, will be 12/6/2 at 20. running around with a standing 150ish PRR, 120ish ac, and ~15% dodge. Smacks stuff pretty good with her hammers too. bout 80 base dmg + a few fluff dmgs. and with the upcoming Crusader, she will be in the ballpark of 500dps. which i like, she can be a secondary heals when needed.. or in the middle of the fight aura healing and spamming smite for her aoe 300+ heals (on her, on others its about 250s or so. based on hamp ofc)

with your tomes I'd say you should go elf with dex to damage then invest the rest into wisdom and try to achieve 42 wisdom for four arrows, oh and since you arent getting oc you wont need as many feats which would let you go 2 pally instead.  (No need for divine might though since your going dex for damage)

Munk has the right idea. Ranger 11 lets you put no points into dex requirements for Imp PS, drop CA. 9 monk for imp evasion since your saves won't be as high as a 12/2 with 4-5s across the board.

but being part ranger, i get bow strength, thus DM would still add dmg to arrows. but yeah.. with current tomeage.. OC might be a lil bit of a stretch for me.. it IS only 1 multiplyer... i guess..

Not a big fan of fighter personally... IMO you're better off with FVS or BF/PAL as a 2 splash.

I wont have enough AP to put into the tree of the 2 splash anyway, so it has to give something worth a damn. Fighter gives feats, Pally gives saves.. FVS gives... uh... SP.. i guess..

and i lose out on Dodge/Deflect to pick up Cleave/Gcleave to get OC. i lose some hamp from shintao to spend those 8 aps into fvs.. :c which, i spose isnt the end of the world, 3 dodge, 50% ignore of projetiles, for +4 dmg... worth it.. completely Cheesy

And that way he can dump dex into the ground and say fuck you to reflex saves because imp evasion?

May as well go human/dorf then for extra feat/more hp

13 Dex with tomes, so he can qualify for Dodge is enough.

Elf for racial dmg line and feytap is a strong option, and HP ~800 @28 without buff is more than enough remember you're not directly ontop of the mobs Wink

if you want combat archery, go elf, if you don't, go bladeforged.

i understand the whole "go bladeforged" but.. without a heart +1 to eradicate the 1 pally level.. going 11/9 wont work so well.. and, as Darthie said.. drop dex into the abyss.. and say good bai to any reflex saves i would have had.. i dont mind failing and taking half dmg occasionally.. but uh... every single trap.. even heroic.. would suck ^-^ Ima try out what i got above, just without the pally... cuz.. pally is retarded.. will go with.. something.. fvs maybe.. or fighter... or or or... 28 pally... Seriously, you just WONT DIE even playing high as kite at 3 am half asleep. Best thing ever.
Monkcher is ideal toon for such occassions so you should capitalize on that.
Who cares about DM on an already ridiculous toon.

isn't OC requirement 23 STR (not 21)? Plus it costs 4 mostly wasted feats (PA, cleave, great cleave, OC). And it only provides about a 2% increase to DPS (crit mult goes from about x5 to x6 on a 19-20 -> 20% more damage 10% of the time)... or if you are x4 to x5 it is a 2.5% dps increase.

I've been thinking precision + improved martial arts instead.  Plus the easier stat distribution means you can get + 2 wisdom.

I know fuck all about monkcher builds but if you don't have enough big + tomes it seems hard to get OC and CA. Not having to worry about OC might allow you to put a couple more points into WIS...?

For feats....how about...precision, PBS, toughness, dodge, quicken, zen archery, IC: ranged, MT, 10k stars, IPS, empower healing? If you aren't human or PDK you would have to drop one...MT maybe?

In regards to DPS...yeah...seems like you can't increase DPS with those 4 feats other than OC. You can increase survivability though.... With the new raids/Thunderholme it seems increasing survivability is important (insane trap DCs in gravity room, massive damage from double dragons, etc).
