When exactly was it used to be? I remember TR'n right after update 19 into into 9mnk/8ftr/3drd and Centered Cleaver was working just fine.

Fighter Kensei II:
Passive Benefit: you gain +1 bonus to Bluff,Concentration, Diplomacy, and Intimidate skills, Combat Feat DC's, Reflex saves against magic, and additional Action Boosts per rest. If you possess a Ki bar, you gain 1 additional Ki on criticals and when meditating.
Active Benefit: expend 1 Action Boost to Kensei Power Surge.

     
Kensei Specified Weapon Mastery II:
If the Specified weapon is one handed, ranged, or thrown weapon, you gain an additional +1 bonus to hit and damage, and +2 to confirm criticals and critical damage (before multipliers) when using the Specified Weapon.
If the Specified weapon is a two handed weapon, you gain an additional +1 bonus to hit, +2 to damage and to confirm criticals and +4 to critical damage (before multipliers), as well as improved glancing blows that have an additional increase chance of applying magical weapon effects when using the Specified Weapon.

Greater Weapon Focus (+1 to hit) is the 8 fighter feat.

Greater Weapon Specialization (+2 dmg) is the 12 fighter feat.

10 Ftr 6 Monk 4 Pal is a BEAST. One of my guildies has been rolling in that form for 3-4 months and NO ONE touches his kill count in EE's in LD except VERY occsaionally my monkcher or shuriken build but that is rare and probably he is drunk when it happens.

It's EXTREMELY clicky intensive though, and just lost AF boost to damage in U21. Still Godly. BF, of course. He uses Cleaver, no SoS. With LD and the Axe crit option, it's badass.

What does 10 FTR give you over 6 paladin?

True.... It's not too bad if you toss a scroll in the mix every so often, and twist meld into darkness. It lets you go "screw it" and charge into 10-20 mobs with a full stack of blitz (or when starting it) and not worry about the consequences every few minutes  Smiley

Only thing I can think of that needed that is in the old enhancements...and that was for Kensei II and Power Surge, nothing to do with being centered.

Bladesworn Transformation. I just realized there very little difference between stalwart and sacred defender (took the stance\extra saves there). 10 fighter looks better, taking that into consideration. I didn't miss the feat really though.

Yes. Lasts for 3 minutes and 10 seconds on my toon I think, has like a five minute cooldown or something.

Mine is 8 fighter, 6 paladin, 6 monk.

105 intim is quite hittable, not that anyone runs EE LoB or EE DQ.


Grandmaster Earth for hate, an exception to the "don't go past tier 3 earth" guideline.


3 paladin gives divine righteousness, I needed 6 for the stance in paladin tree due to how the AP worked out.

I chose the paladin defender because of AP cost.

Shintao and Fighter defender give low hanging hate bonuses.

Over 100 PRR from shintao, earth stance, paladin defender stance, augment, web weapon.


Shadow fade, 25% dodge, high saves, 2 intims (helf)


Kensai and an AP swap puts the DPS and tactics sort-of close to the Cetus build.


I'll post it if anyone is interested, though tanking is still pretty much obsolete.

Not the lower tier parts, which give prr, threat, and saves.  These work regardless of wearing a shield.

The higher tiers give strength, con, and % hit points.  These need a shield to work.

The only part I don't like is having to toggle it off and on so primal scream will work. It's got a long cooldown for like no reason....

So, ive been running this for a while now, probably not optimized like my old ac monk was but i can say that it is pretty awesome.

If you don't have 100ac / prr on a toon, you should definitely try it. I am substantially over these figures now and not really impacting DPS.

It is almost as godlike as the old ac monk was. There is quite a bit of stuff that does not work, doesn't work together and also a lot of stuff that works together that you wouldn't think would.

14fighter/4pally/2monk (human)

Get tier4 pally reinforced armour/shield (from pally)
From fighter get tier 5 reinforced defense
From human get shield mastery and 10% heal amp.

Its a build that is pretty hard to fuck up.

Most people go reinforced shield from tier 4 pally instead of the armour since they invest less into DEX and want to get higher AC w/o losing on evasion but thats up to you.

Friends a first lifer and hit 180AC, (and to be honest hes a bit of a noob)

If you get the martial phere maxed out with ePLs, and with proper gear you can get 220-240 AC pretty easily.  At that point PRR is kinda useless since you will never get hit, except on a 20 I suppose.
