trap skills, spells (enchant wpn is good), controllable pet to pull stuff, repeater use (excellent while levelling)

I'm assuming it's for divine might in the case of fvs, but what does druid get other than a pet for levers?

mostly both fvs and druid will qualify you for Empower heal, after that druid offers beguile & a controllable pet for levers.

I've got no fail tensor scrolls on my monkcher with 2 paladin splashed, so I don't think full UMD would be an issue. Cocoon hits me for more than enough so I don't bother with heal scrolls.

I suppose if you like disabling traps you could do it, but that sounds like an awful reason to go 2 rogue or artificer. SA HD pales in comparison vs divine might.

Don't you need a twist to get turn undead that with only 2 pal?

In this case because its still better than either option presented by the op. Personally when soloing i still find beguile + frost arrows can be noticeable.

I do think fvs is the strongest 2 splash currently.

2 FVS would be nice for DM.  Question is though, is DM greater than Combat Archery?  With the "needed" investment in CHA I would not be able to hit 21 DEX.

Currently about to hit level 18 and my last Ranger level.  I will use my free LR 20 when I hit 20 to set the levels up for maximum benefit.  Full UMD is a must for more then Tensers.

With no build points in cha its quite possible to reach 30 cha these days.
Asfaras build points go:
Qualify for oc,
then ca
Then rest in wisdom.
focus on wis>str>cha equipment, remember that insightful str is not needed.
I ignore dex and saves gear, instead relying on twitch skills with improved evasion for 1/2 damage.

If you're picking up points in cha at the expense of ca youre doing it wrong.

2 pally is great for really OP saves, but 2 arty if your saves aren't that bad w/o the CHA mod to saves
