Because of the devs or because he doesn't understand that the shadow is being caused by the light reflecting off the walls and floor?

After the 5th or 6th viewing it might be because the light source is 'inside' the model; but that is easily fixed.

That shadow really bothered him that much?  Geez.  Any game is better off without that asshole as a player.
