Don't worry, kid. You'll get better, just try to learn not to suck.
Stop trying to own it, you acted like a shitty d-bag and got called on it. Be a man and stop pretending it didn't sting bitch.

Learning to read will help your guildies immensely.
One of the champion buffs is the ability to ignore player fortification. All of it. Good fun when mixed with damage buffs.

Buying it for yourself doesn't really count, but you've earned it now (before you put it on Facebook to show all your corporate and porn friends: the award isn't actually a good one).

Nice try whelp. I would venture that I'm a little old to be referred to as a kid.
It's getting boring reading all the narcissists coming here to say, "Fuck I'm good, just ask me" in between the useful posts.
Go and circle jerk in a thread dedicated to your awesomeness.
You and your "guildies" can fap yourself to oblivion.

Few shortman runs of Stormhorns last week.

Unclear which toon they were on, but could have been low PRR depending on whatever build they were trying out at the moment.
Point was, they weren't bottling their tears and mailing them to Turdbine in a protest action.

I think 3/4s of the mothership forums is in there, and looks like some of this bunch should join them.
Those vaulties need to nut up. They want to run their mouths over here, but when Turbine adds a bit of cayenne to the game they run home crying like a kid whose kickball just got snatched.

I'm not really taking either side in this debate; the champions do make me pause before clicking hard on a quest now. I actually have to pay attention to what character I'm on; regardless of level. Most of the time hard isn't worth it to me due to the time lost on lower dps characters. Hard evon3 on my cleric takes longer than normal evon3 and normal espies together. Now, lower dps characters are 100% relegated to normal runs.
Since champions provide no additional xp; they aren't worth it. My time is more valuable than face. And to my higher DPS characters, champions aren't even a bump in the road except they can 1 shot me & cost me XP. So why bother with them?

Champs are a trap; all risk, no reward. Why would you go into a quest where by sheer randomness you could lose 10% of your xp right off the top?

This, Champions are not a challenge.
They are just a fucking random death for the melees, the casters have no problem with them at all as usual.
Dear players,
The D&D rules you were familiar with were too simple to understand, so we're continuing our move away from them to needlessly confusing subsystems that will make your play experience less fun and invalidate old builds and loot. We hope you have fun working out what the fuck MRR, PRR, MP, SP, RP, CL, MCL and all the other bullshit we made up whilst drunk means.
Love,
People who don't know how to fix their own mistakes cleanly

For your goals, this is absolutely true and I don't question it. For mine, I'm thrilled that champions exist. I haven't had this much fun in the game since before dungeon scaling was added.

it's not a caster/melee thing. . . any melee in FoTW with Overwhelming Force can take out ANY Champion ANY time he wants to.
Doesn't mean they're not firggin retarded.

Getting 1 of every class to 28, pure. You can't imagine solo'ing EE champs with a pure rogue. I tried. It is hilarious for the first 5 insta-greasespots. Especially when one is to a fireball.

I'm still out on them for heroic. I've not tinkered with them on an at level untwinked character. I honestly don't think they are in the best interest for places like Korthos & the Harbor/Marketplace.

Barb's with Ear Smash can too, monks could have a time with the DC's for champs? Not tried, but should be possible

We have reduced the number of Monster Champions that spawn, and also reduced the overall damage boost Champions get. The numbers are now:
Hard normal monsters: The percentage chance for a Champion to spawn has been reduced from 12% to 6%.
Elite normal monsters: The percentage chance for a Champion to spawn has been reduced from 12% to 9%.
Hard Orange named monsters (mini-bosses) is now 33%.
Elite Orange named monsters (mini-bosses) is now 66%.
Champion Damage boost: Reduced by 25%.
Please continue to provide us with your feedback on Monster Champions. Thanks!

They must have had some pretty obvious drops in either subscriptions or logins to react this quickly. I don't know if the guy who runs the DDOracle site still does updates, but I'd be curious to see what the charts look like for this past few days.

Finally some real numbers to work with! Thanks, I just don't visit that shithole anymore. It auto-aggros me. These seem to square with what I've been seeing.
