I am getting back to my sorcerer after a ton of past lives. My last sorcerer was a 16/2/2 sorcerer/pal/monk (max dodge/evasion) elec/fire. He was very survivable and dps was ok.
With the changes to prr and mrr, i was thinking of 16 sor/2 pal/2 wiz for free maximize (ideas from Atomicmews posts.) aside from not having 9th level spells what downsides do you all see.
Build ideas would be greatly appreciated, I wasn't really impressed with anything on the mother forums.

Depends what you want to play, a shiradi spammer or draconic nuker.
Both have same survival rate, id say draconic pures have more once you learn how to play them properly /but that is just personal opinion

I have done both, I think I will go Draconic again this time around. Do you try to squeeze in Adamantine body and spend the ap's to reduce ASF? It seems tight on feats and ap already.

2 wiz is a good splash, but FvS splash is more important for shiradi.  I'm an advocate of 16 sorc/2 wiz/2 FvS.  With MRR and a skyvault shield swap (2x MRR on reflex spells), you don't need to care about reflex save and you can twist in more fortitude saves when you actually need it (very rarely). 

If you want to play draconic, 18 sorc/2 wiz or pure 20 sorc would be what I would go for.

Addie body is very worth it, i would advise to do that if you plan on playing a robot
