i know 2 paladin will be best, but for the moment i don't have bladeforge, so i'm doing PDK monkcher for now

i would like some suggestion about feat and enanchements, for now i got the classic stuff, like 10k and all the way to improved precise shot and the epic archer thing

my main strategy is many shot and 10k in combo with arrow of slayng and sniper shot and dispelling shot (i dont see any self utility for shattermantle shot)

i'm doubtful about which monk enanchements are best, if i missed something important about enanchement and feats, anticipating thx for effort in you answer Smiley

Fury with pin, or LD With pin are the only good options (so long as you can sustain blitz).

Fvs is better because you dont have to fuck around with twisting for divine might.

yep, i checked Fvs on wiki, it is a lot better! tyvm

(you used a +1 lesser wood or you went all the way through heroic? in heroic you played ranged from the start? i'm asking to know if it will be easy to quest now that champions are up)

Technically, you don't HAVE to twist in bane of undeath, you can run the quest and then just swap into and back out of divine crusader and "recharge" your divine might clickies.  I actually did it this way for a while and, despite being annoying, functioned adequately.

The other big gain is empower healing, which is worth it to me over paladin and why, when I get around to it, I am going to TR with 2 fvs instead of 2 pally....  I just haven't played that toon in awhile.

This is what I am still running, even with cleave and great cleave from when you needed them for OC; I am going to TR at some point, but for right now I am sticking with it as I am using a staff for melee/ki-building, and the cleaves help me build up lots of ki in no time.

Yes, there are better builds, but I have 4 other characters that I am rebuilding, and this one still works...

I said fuck round with twisting turn undeads. Remembering to swap it in and out sounds like fucking round with twisting to me.

Last time I levelled this I still had to take cleaves for OC, so it was easy to work with a staff.  Now Id probably level with wraps/shortswords.

Ive not logged in since before champs were introduced.

Noone plays 2 fvs splash.
Either 2 pally ( with Bane twisted for mod or Deathwyrm ,huge saves and great umd ) or 2 fighter for more boosts and 2 feats with kta from Harper.

Im running 14 pal 6 monk right now and its boss.  Holy Weapon + fury = win, go elf so you can use dex for dmg and forget str even exsists.

If you need the monk past life down the road then sure this will work fine.

You could consider splashing 1 wizard and taking an extra ranger or monk, for a free meta feat, quicken cocoons go a long way, but thats a playstyle thing more than a 'this is better than that' thing

With droping a feat, it has been proven alrdy that same split str based on a helf outperforms elf version dps wise.
Depends on playstyle tho, dex based version for sure is more sturdy, but regular str/wisdom based helf will have more dps.

But as i said, depends on prefered playstyle

Will prolly depend on tomes too, elf starts at 18 without losing anything, a +3 tome and youve got all you need for feats, Helf you start at 16 if youre lucky and then you need +5 or you sacrifice combat archery. 

Im sure its doable, but not everyone sports +5s and 6's

Exactly, and personally i would always take damage boost + palie ranged power boost over palie ranged power boost only Wink

Im running a 12/6/2 Monk Ranger Fighter Monkchar.  Fury with PIN is "best" however there are times when Crusader and/or Dreadnaught are "good" too.  For whatever reason Shiradi seemed to suck, DPS wise.  I would not recommend FVS.  2 Fighter is easy, has extra feats that are needed and Haste Boost is very good.

woa i forgot about kta, thank you all guys for your hints, guess all choices are good, depend on playstyle

i'll probably go for fighter because i don't like heroic that much with a ranger (i'm scared of doing a shuriken thrower coz of that Smiley )

Hasteboost is very good, good thing it's easily twisted.

So why not play as a handwrap monk user?  you'll get 2wf/i2wf auto granted.  Pick up stunning fist as a swap feat and it's a decent heroic monk with great burst dps (manyshot)

this seems the best idea. i dont know yet which will be the added feat, maybe a simple dodge, toughness, i'm slowly try to figure this out before the moment of HTR. for now my main is on a bard and i'm having fun with a cha based warchanter swagbuckler Smiley too much fun

i'll try it with another toon before tr but that really doesnt count, because without tomes most of stat goes to dex for archer thing in epic. so for the moment i'm just trying to figure out the most important thing. when the moment will come i will choose the extra feat
