From the PC application, the last question asked:
18. Please provide us with feedback as well! One of the things we are planning to bring to DDO in 2015 is a new class called the Warlock. We’d like to get your thoughts on this class. Please answer the following questions:
a. How familiar are you with the Warlock class in the Dungeons & Dragons pen and paper game?
b. Which DDO classes did you play when they were initially released? Why or why not?
c. The Warlock utilizes powerful Eldritch Blasts to decimate their enemies. How do you envision this being implemented in DDO?
d. What are the most important Warlock features and details you want to see?
Classic Turbine, asking these question after they decided to force it on the game.
Little tip for any hopeful brown-nosers, you better say that you like the idea.
Well last year they asked feedback on the quest compendium UI revamp IIRC...
You will note that it hasn't happened. Expect the same to happen to the Warlock.

They ask for a feedback on a topic as a testing ground... That way they know what to expect from each applicant.
Now to answer the questions :
a) Unfamiliar... I read it... long ago.
b) I played mostly Rolemaster... for D&D we kept to the classic... there I played Kender, Wizard/Rogue, Fighter, Cleric, Barbarian.
( in RM the list is longer and goes from Human Fighter to K'Ta'Viir Mentalist/Semi-Telepath. [ Yes the last one is really weird as it's a multiclassed from two different games [ Rolemaster and Spacemaster; don't worry it's fully compatible ] overpowered race that shouldn't be put in the hands of a player )
c) Inferno !!! ( otherwise I have quite a few variations on the theme from RM )
d) see a
I'd fail this year application.
If the warlock had been brought to the 2014 PC I probably would have let the other discuss it while watching from the side... because I'm really clueless about it.
