	I once read an interview where a greek woman was complaining that she went to the state-run hospital to get an eye exam(which was her right as a greek citizen) and they informed her that the eye doctor had retired and they would not be able to hire a new one until he died. You see, they had to continue paying him a pension just... forever. Forget saving for retirement, just get that pension and you're good. And of course when you die it goes to your wife(that's fair, really) and then when SHE dies your kids get to inherit it. Hey, maybe that's why youth unemployment is so high! Why get a job when you can just inherit your folk's pension.

	Holy fuck i just finished reading that article and it was so full of SHIT,honestly that girl is prolly trying to score some cheap publicity by bashing on her country (typical journalist nothing weird). The pension transfer happens only on a family that the father was the only working member,their year income is less than 8000euros mixed until the kid gets 18 so it can finish his studies and some other strict criteria. But again we get our pension at 75 by paying ~250euros monthly for 55 years and still have to pay the doctors for surgeries so that eye exam example was plain BS. A debt equal to Europes 1% GDP wasnt a big issue but people got rich from it so all is cool
