City of the spider queen here . I had lots of fun, and if the group is not fully retarded, like mine was, there's a lot of stuff that can be solved without fighting, or at least fight yourself. Anyway, good stuff.

I've also played City of the spider queen. We were a party of 5 people (i was a duergar cleric).

Do you want to DM a standalone adventure or you are going to integrade it to your campaing?

If you want something standalone play Ravenloft  Cool

Legends of Undermountain and Ruins of Myth Drannor were cool, if only for the sheer number of maps and source material.

I always preferred writing my own scenarios, but I HATED drawing maps.

Does anyone remember the Ravenloft module that came with an audio CD with sound effects and narration?

Oh dear.... I remember spending hours drawing maps as a GM....

Or to say it another way, in hte old ICE MERP Modules there was maps of each area... I had them copied ( or not ) and then pinned to the wall of my bedroom
( I had a biiiiig wall, well i had a big bedroom : 36 m² )... then I started to fill the gaps by hand made maps.... then I started to extend in the east towards Rhun, and to add Mordor & Nurn... Then I considered filling the blank between Umbar and southern Gondor... But my wall wasn't high enough for that....

In the end I had a map that extended from Lindon to east of the Sea of Rhun and from Forochel to a bit south of the Mouth of the Anduin.

Then I went burned out on MERP ( too much GMing ), and moved to Shadow World ( a Romelaster setting ).

I always loved drawing maps and plans... I have the full plans of a starship ( 12+ A3 drafting sheets ) that I made one day ( well technically it took me several day to do all the pages ).... for a Spacemaster campaign.
I used them one time only.

The best adventure I ever wrote was based on the movie [url=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0123755/]Cube.[url]

The map was super-simple, one repeating cubical room with a door on each side.

It was actually more of a hypercube, but fuck drawing that.

red hand of doom is fun too, the timeline thing and dealing with an army adds a cool sense of urgency and choice.

This adventure was particularly badass.

While low level, the old 3rd edition eberron modules were also absolutely fantastic and could be adjusted for higher level play with a little creativity.

Anything Ravenloft is beast.

The old modules were some of the best though - look into EX1 and Ex2, Dungeonland and its brother for a stand alone set that rocks as part of an insert into any existing campaign as well.
