	They nailed that feel of Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale/Neverwinter Nights. If that's your thing (it's mine) you'll more than likely like Pillars. If not, well, there's a donkey dick out there somewhere with your name on it. If you've never played this type of game before, Pillars is a good place to start. Playing with 2 ciphers should probably be considered cheating.

	I've only logged a few hours into it, but I'm loving it. Thinking I'll be getting my daughter into it as well, who has been looking for RPG style games that have more "getting to kill things" in them. I've also reloaded Baldur's Gate onto my machine for her, and am considering making her work her way through that storyline first.

	I was enjoying it but I've been running into more and more quest scripting bugs which have started affecting my ability to enjoy the game. Give it a few months of patches and buy it on sale.

	I preordered it before I knew of MajMals involvement. Then I realized it had no fucking ability for multiplayer. I am just glad my kickstarter payment was the bare minimum to get the game for free. Baldurs gate, baldurs gate 2? MULTIPLAYER. If anything I would say they were trying to go up against Planescape: Torment - no multiplayer. In which, they failed hard. I cannot believe a game made around '98 was smart enough to throw in multiplayer, but 2015 release? What is multiplayer? I beat it once, on normal, solo. Because fuck everyone else in the game. They deserved their violent ends since I could not have a friend join me.

The kickstarter is probably not the only funding they received. They probably had private investors who were looking for a show of interest prior to committing the serious money. The kickstarter exceeding the goal by almost 50% will probably result in some investors feeling good about laying down serious coin since there is a clear audience for the game. If you think they plan to develop a game on $850k, then I think you missed the point of the kickstarter.

	I'm enjoying PoE. Not quite the game BG 1 and 2, and Icewind Dale 1 and 2 were, but, it has the same feel and is fun. For the price I paid on kickstarter, was worth it

	I played throught it from start til end with all quests and special tasks completed. (thats how much i enjoyed it, tho you need to download patch first to fix some issues, get sorting etc) Game has a odd approach to building characters /put simply con is dump stat in the game so for builders it might be interesting to find out min/max way to make your group. Premade characters you get are all garbage, but they fixed that issue in newest patch. I played with em since i liked some of those lunatics As a oldie who still has baldurs and icewind standing beside� my pc il say that i truly enjoyed this game. Story is good, gameplay is great and you get a nice challenge for the first playtrhough on path of damned /is hardest difficulty, some fights in particual are extra fun. Best fun (spoiler) was when i talked to adra dragon totally underleveled and undergeared at path of nua lv 15, i have this option checkd to autopause game when combat starts, so this is a screenie what happend: http://postimg.org/image/ifmz2b3j1/ I raped her later on with proper tactics tho, but to be honest, game is really truly good, if you like baldurs/icewinds i will strongly suggest to play it and enjoy it. Also tides coming out this year, cant wait to get mah copy as i pledged for it the moment they announced
