If you want to make the most sane and healthy choice, yes. Both on giving up and feeling sorry for him.

On the other hand, if you've joined The Vault, you're already pretty far down the road of non sane or healthy choices. The group of folks who got pissed off at Jerry's "tin-foil hat" comment would probably welcome you. Especially if you keep good records of your interactions with Turbine.

Unless they've dropped their campaign.

Tin-foil hat?  I'll research that one.

This arse hat Jerkoffovan has made my list of people to despise for the rest of my life.

Normally I shy away from anything "Nazi-ish" on the internet as experience shows how quickly that goes freak-zone.
