Played from Launch until June of this year. Have not gotten the expansion yet, have Ps4.

Seems to be a lot of new content and all of the old systems are changed. Change is hard.

the systems are not that different than year one, i guess the only one that might be somewhat misleading is infusing gear (stupidest system implemented to date imo) but you don't really have to do that unless you're trying to get super max light later on.

other than that it's pretty much the same thing, quest for xp until max level which is 40 then farm light via vendors then farm strikes for engrams rng until 290ish then raid and then infusing. xur is pretty much the same, factions are the same, pvp is strictly better and more balanced and it seems like they're actually trying to make a decent series of quests and story in year 2.

edit: matchmaking is also still annoying

coming in late on this game but so far so good. I am enjoying playing with what little time I have; nonetheless, it looks like there is a lot of info I need to gather in order to maximize.
