Build idea after "the balance change post"

20 monk
elf or helf for AA tree

pure monk gives the maximum bonuses for 10k stars.
Will have enough feats to pick up many shot and IPS and the main goodies.

But will have to be dex based since you wont have enough feats to pick up bow strength

Any thoughts?


And this is under the assumption that slayer arrow remains the same.
They are still up in the air about changing it, and maybe with all of the grief they've been getting in that thread maybe they'll keep it the same.
(In the official post they said they "Depending on DPS testing, this may be decreased or increased in power" )

As for the last paragraph.  I spoke in private messages with varg today.  Only second time in nearly 10 years I PM'd a Dev.  I let them know what I thought on a few subjects and we had a decent back and forth.    My conclusions from our conversation is: they will do what they want and fuck everyone else.   He didn't come out and say that, but it was my reading between the lines, cockiness, et al that has me drawing this conclusion.  They will probably change exactly everything they have posted regardless.

Slower XP progression for some.
Continue the FoTM nut-shell game.
Adds build *ahem* diversity.
Will herald a new generation of butthurtfeels and consequent drama to ensue.
Changes nothing with any of my current builds or future build plans.
Maybe I will get around to doing more than 2 paladin levels on any particular character lmao.

This struck me just right, and I lol'ed.
  
A half-dozen boss Vaulties donated generously with real money to my classroom during a fundraiser in May 2015 to get poor kids books to read. I won't forget that. They know who they are, and they freaking rule.
