microtransactions are big money, that's ironic. Stock it high and sell it low.

No it's not ironic, it's a simple function of smaller sum transactions being multiplied across a much greater volume; basic math.  A Dwarf getting killed with a Dwarven Axe, by a non-Dwarf, is ironic.

Dear players,

The D&D rules you were familiar with were too simple to understand, so we're continuing our move away from them to needlessly confusing subsystems that will make your play experience less fun and invalidate old builds and loot. We hope you have fun working out what the fuck MRR, PRR, MP, SP, RP, CL, MCL and all the other bullshit we made up whilst drunk means.

Love,

not sure, have this from article ; Quote:
Supercell, maker of the No. 1 mobile game "Clash of Clans," came in second with $1.64 billion in sales

idk if that is just from clash or everything they do combined. seems like everything, but clash might be their biggest moneymaker?

It seems to be a typo. Clash of clans is second in overall with 1.345b. From the lists on the same page:

Quote:
Digital PC

1. "League of Legends" (Tencent/Riot Games, $1,628)
2. "Crossfire" (SmileGate, $1,110)
:
:

Mobile

1. "Clash of Clans" (Supercell, $1,345)

Yes, if you consider that King (Candy Crush) was bough by 5 billion, it doesn´t seem too much.

Well, trying to get there.

5.9 billion, no cutting corners please it is worth every penny. Candy Crush/King transforms stupid into money and that makes it a modern day Philosopher's Stone.

Well, been talking around about this with people from other big companies and they where a bit (a lot) skeptic. But the general answer was "we will see".
It is just not about "5.9 billion is a lot of money". It is about what you can do with that money instead of buying King.
Maybe you could have bought Line for much less money, and that would be a better deal in my eyes (just an example, no fucking idea what Line would cost).

Sichere Bank... Shut up and take my Money Grin
