Character in question is a STR Based Elven Scimitar Ranger, but the gear set is fairly universally applicable.

My hp sits around 1500-1600 with 27% dodge 15% incorp 50% displacement 65 mrr and 116 prr.
I'd like to get more PRR, and always ore DPS.

I would love ideas/suggestions/debate on the gear set up.

Goggles: Epic Mentau's Goggles
Helmet: Sightless
Necklace:Legendary Warriors Pendant
Trinket:Epic Litany
Cloak:Trip Positive Material Opposition HP Regen/Incap Range
Belt:Hasty 16 Stunning 15 Insightful Str 5
Ring1:Seal of House Avithoul
Gloves:Iron Mitts
Boots:Warriors of Strength
Ring2: Deadly 10 Accuracy 10
Bracers:Triple Negative Material Opposition Immunity Item
Armor: TOEE Smoldering Leathers
Mainhand Wep: Triple Positive Affirmation Scimitar
Offhand Wep: Shocking TOEE Scimitar

Leathers of the Celestial Avenger, while not having Doublestrike 17% (like the Outfit does), are still a VERY solid choice when compared with the TF light armor.

Since the deception proc. on strange tidings has been fixed, i would start off by replacing seal of house avithoul.

Be sure to have epic quiver of alacrity equipped for the extra *insightful* sneak attack damage.

small nitpick, but if youre swapping plis/magestar/jeweled cloak, then switch around the hp/con augments for the prot poison, prot, nat armor, heal 15 and put them on your cloak and litany.

ya im going to try strange tidings, but i do like the 10% proc on avithoul vs 5% on strange tidings. its an amazing proc for DPSing down LE bosses. I can solo the ranger boss in LE TS because she stays spun around due to improved deception.

i like it. are you sure the insightful SA from quicker stacks? the avithoul reads as insightful also.

also no 2 piece opposition set. thats kind of a requirement for me to get to the HP I need for LE (1500)

It doesn't stack with the avithoul ring. But for the doj ring it is a different story.

On my 15/5 Pali tempest i have Toughness/Etoughness which puts me around 1500 hp buffed.

Not including the 20% hp bonus from stance.



I don't think the set bonus is worth it on a melee, tbh.

I just found 1200-1300 wasnt enough HP for solo/2 man LE TS, which I do often. 1500 I was able to melee the red names and not die at all. Could take a hit fine. Also the tier 3 positive material opposition incap range is huge in taking a hit from LE Sorjek. I can take a hit from him on LE and live, if affirmation is up. I think the 18% HP and incap range is worth it.

Interesting the DOJ ring is significantly more DPS then. I will grind it and the quiver!

I decided to go with the TOEE set. 24 melee power is a huge dps boost, and the vulnerable from the weapon will be huge. Updated OP to reflect a few changes.
