	I stopped playing two weeks ago, I'm waiting until they do something meaningful. I got a lot of lag in Misery's Peak when soloing it, I don't see the point of leaving Korthos Island to end in a more laggy area.

It's somewhat better if you solo. I almost never group and I almost never get crippling lag like that, although I still get some lag and ofc I'm completely fucked if I group.

It indicates that maybe, just maybe, they've actually noticed that their playerbase has been significantly reduced in the past three weeks while they've circled the wagons and tried to ignore the unrest. They're throwing out xp for everyone to try and slow the bleeding while they look under the couch cushions for a clue on how to fix the lag.

	Come on people, Turbine has done this exact same weekend bonus in the past, MULTIPLE TIMES, before lag. When DDO throws out free Otto's Boxes to get back players, that is when Turbine is throwing in the towel. Turbine is still in the ignore stage of the disaster and when Turbine reports the next player's numbers to Warner Bros is when the shit will hit the fan. Infinite Stupid Crisis put Turbine on the ropes with the parent company, this datacenter move, which is probably saving Turbine $120,000 per year(throwing a number out there), but is going to end up being a huge revenue loss. Warner Bros might just decide to cut bait on DDO and concentrate solely on LoTRO. It is clear that Turbine's network engineers are clueless on improving lag. It is clear that Turbine's devs are completely and utterly clueless. It is clear that whoever is doing the database queries has zero clue on how to optimize them.

That's clueless commenting there. They are bleeding clients and revenue worse than DDO. They are in the same shit bag data center and got used as the guinea pig to boot. They have had the same lag issues. WB has decided to concentrate solely on mobile gaming. Both DDO and LoTRO are late life cycle products at this point.
