Search says here is no topic about Borderlands yet, you I'll start one: It's a light roleplay shooter with a lot of bloodshed and dark humor. The setting looks like what you are used from Fallout/MadMax and the graphics use "cel shading" for a comic style look. A bit like "Team Fortress 2", only much better made. Can be played coop for even more fun, the critters scale with party size.

Best thing is: The story of Borderlands 1 spinns around the hunt for a mystical place called "The Vault"  Cheesy Drag the game into your steam wishlist and get it the next time it is one sale. You won't reget it.

You can't win the Vault, you can only make a fool of yourself and be added to my ignore script. Hi Welcome

Borderlands is fucking awesome. Get 3 other people to run with for maximum funnage. Gear up, level up, and get MOAR DAKKA!

Edit: Also, the story is fun. Mostly in 2 though. 1 and Pre-sequel aren't so great in that area, IMO.

borderlands is good as fuck, anyone into fps games will enjoy it

when it got old and boring for me i found save editors and made retarded guns. not sure if the current versions / sequels can still be fucked with in the same fashion but it was good times and pissed other players off hard

I loved all 3 of the BL games  (BL, BL2, BL-TPS) and played the snot out of all of them. Will be pre-ordering the next one, assuming it's ever announced (Half-Life 3, anyone?) Sadly, Battleborn seems to be where Gearbox's focus is right now, so I'm not expecting any new BL game for a while...

They've been hiring/working on one for a year or two now. We'll probably hear something late this year or early next. "Borderworlds" has apparently already been trademarked, which supports my belief that they're going for an interplanetary MMOFPSRPG, given the events at the end of 2 and PS.
