Ring of the Stalker (challenges) and GXBow? (Read 2780 times)

	A friend wanted me to roll up an iconic character on another server to play with some ideas, and I decided to make a Rogue Mech GXBow build. I have no gear on this server, and I'm certainly not buying shards to go shopping, so I thought a Ring of the Stalker would be useful - a few hours of grind for Ethereal, Manslayer, Seeker, and sneak attack all in a single ring slot. But Manslayer doesn't seem to proc. I've got Sniper, so I'd think I'd see Vorpal Death Strike scroll by in the combat log fairly often when fighting humanoids, but I haven't seen a single one in an hour or two of play. More play, but trying to watch for it for an hour or two. I'm pretty sure I remember my Drow Smoke Goggles giving me quite a few on my Arti heavy repeater, though that was before Vorpals showed up in pawn shops on a regular basis� Is Ring of the Stalker bugged? Does Sniper think Manslayer is a mushroom? Does the Vorpal Death Strike message not show up if the normal damage is enough to kill the target (tons of SA dice)?

	Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

	In a weird turn, the vorp. effect from Wind Howler bracers doesn't seem to be appearing on normal mobs, neither on a 19 nor a 20. Red Names, on both 19 & 20, yes. I have to find mobs with more hit points....

Maybe I do have it filtered, or maybe I just missed it, it was a new character so I was still rearranging hot bars and stuff. And I had a really buggy night, too, I kept getting stuck zoning and logout didn't work, so maybe it just wasn't regestering that I had it equipped. I'm just glad the grind through the miserable Cannith Challenges wasn't a waste of time. Well, any more than chasing virtual treasure ever is�

	It's possible that what should be a humanoid is not coded as such, too. The amount of Monster Manual credits for things that aren't what they say they are defies my ability to list succinctly.
