I hate you for making me say this, but I (mostly) agree with Fran on this one. 

I would say level 150 guild, rather than his 200. 150+ is pure fluff.

I flag all sagas. Chug a renown pot and collect them all together.

Only time I ever took a renown token was when I had maxed EDs, maxed karma in all spheres, was about to TR and had one uncollected saga.

They can be useful for a low level guild, 180K renown vs 30K XP for heroic 3bc?

I always get the xp if I am etring. Can get back to 21+ just from the saga turn ins right after an etr.

If am am doing a iconic tr I usually try to find a skill tome I dont have currently.

And if all else fails I just take the xp reward as I finish them to help along the way back to 30.

I don't think I've ever taken a renown reward. But my guild is 150+ so any additional levels is really just to make us feel happy in the pants.

Sagas is how i got my (nearly 1 man) guild to lvl  80.
I mean of the 26ish millions needed i have contributed roughly 24 across my toons.


But yeah, renown in sagas its mostly for the lowlvl guilds.

I get between a mil and a mil and a half per life taking the stones from the sagas and the guild renown from the end rewards.

I don't always take the guild renown but I do most of the time.

I'm in a small guild.

Maybe 60 - 70 mill renown combined.

Sometimes when doing iconic life I do Cannith challenges  few times to get some renown pots.
Almost always take renown from quest rewards unless there's really uber random item.

But from sagas ? Always xp. 1 - 1.3 mill xp and heroic GH saga I always save up to use at level 18, usually after Litany farmage and taking level 18.

Everything that dumbass says about the game is wrong.
From helpless level 16 clerics to bad xp in Eberron epics.

I always take renown from pretty much everything, getting regular XP is pretty easy whereas big chunks of guild renown isn't. Once I get my guild to 150 then I will start taking XP but until then it will be renown only.

I take renown, but I'm in a 3 man guild (6 accounts, obviously) that I half-heartedly level for fun.

If I were in a larger guild, didn't enjoy the admittedly pointless leveling, or didn't have tons of cannith challenge ingredients I would probably take experience.

I should also mention that I don't need experience on my main and I don't really care about any of my alts.

I take the guild renown almost exclusively from quests, even if it is not really needed, because it does not occupy inventory space. 

Sagas I take XP as I am in a high lvl guild already. Again because no inventory needed.

It is more out of fucking laziness as I hate inventory management.
