This is out of date. That is how it used to work.

Hi well I was just looking for right combination of deception and improved deception gear for my dex based tempest
1. Epic Golden Guile
2. Seal of House Avithoul
3. EE Backstabbers Gloves
4. Legen Animated rope
5. Strange tidings
which of these stack and which combo is best
None of those stack. Not the bluff proc anyway. You may want to combo the Imp Deception proc rate with the SA damage from a newer item though
The rundown:
New and old Deception items have a 5% bluff proc rate.
Improved Deception items have a 10% bluff proc rate.
You can stack 1 weapon proc and 1 accessory proc. SO the best proc rate is stacking Improved Deception on a weapon and accessory for 10%+10%. Some builds will have to settle for one of each for 10%+5%. A few will only fit one item.

You can combine 1 deception effect from a weapon and 1 from an accessory. The better of Improved deception or regular deception will apply from each. So you can have 2 regulars, 2 improveds, or one of each, as long as one is on a weapon and one is on an accessory both will always apply to both hands
