Heroic TR is enough of a nightmare as it is; and when I am trying to clear those last few slots from the cache and I need to choose between irreplaceable super rare extremely useful raid loot and an item that just changes how my character looks... I'll give you three guesses what's getting thrown away.

BTA fixes that by simply letting me dump it in the shared bank. I'd happily collect shitloads of cosmetics if they were ALL BTA.

I dont think they know themselves. Cannons was probably a change they made somewhere else that just manifested in the ships cannon.

There are things that silently change and i dont believe they consciously fixed them - like the teleport spot on the way to POP - for years it changed to only the first person in the instance got it, and then a while back changed back to the original everyone in the instance could get it

I dont recall seeing anything about the fact that t was broken or fixed in any notes

I think most of the "backlash" was from a small handful of extremely vocal forumites who get super butt-hurt whenever someone else gets something. I'd say MOST players were quite happy with the event; I know here on Vault forum everyone was quite thrilled with it.

It isn't fair to write people off as assholes just because you disagree with them. While I wouldn't characterize myself as an "extremely vocal forumite" and I didn't particularly care about the list, I didn't find it difficult to understand why some people weren't thrilled that gear that they worked hard to get (that in some cases was still useful and still not easy to get) was being handed out to every player in the game.

Just because I don't fully share that perspective doesn't mean it's crazy.

Difficult to say, but given the fact that "most" players didn't have most of the gear being offered that isn't surprising.

The vault is a poor sample group both because it's self selecting and because there's a herd mentality thing that goes on here. I'm sure there are plenty of lurkers who choose not to express their less popular (albeit equally valid) opinions because they don't find being shouted down by an army of angry children to be conducive to productive conversation.

I'm all for calling someone a retard if he's being a retard, but launching personal attacks against everyone who disagrees with me doesn't help anybody.

Or build a system like what they have for pets where you just have a separate tab for cosmetics . Anything to make BTC crap not take up space in your inventory.
