My feeling is that Slavers gear has gone from being BiS gear to being progression gear and versatile filler gear, but RL gear is the BiS target gear.
The 3 piece crypt raider set and silent avenger sets are nice but aren't compatible because one uses armor, neck, and trinket and the other uses armor, cloak, and belt. The crypt raider set only supports medium armor or docent and the trinkets are meh.
The Silent avenger set is strong for dex build. But anything that doesn't need dex, it becomes kinda meh, too.
At that point you are better off targeting the Adherent of the Mists 5 piece set and designing it around your primary damage stat, secondary damage stat, con, and additive effects. I generally like boots, bracers, cloak, gloves, and then either goggles, belt, or neck (depending on build). That gives you belt or neck, plus two ring slots and trinket slot (and armor if you want pair in a non-crafted slavers item) to get a 3 piece slavers set. I'd probably do a 3 piece set of the might to fill in holes in the RL gear that will be permanent. Filling in the rest with other named items that still have value or CC gear. And you could craft slavers in Boots, Bracers slots with place holder stat/effects gear until you get your RL gear. That way you have a 5 piece set until the RL gear is pulled.
