	I have a boxed set of Oblivion GOY Edition I never really played through till the end and was wondering if there are any fans out here that know of any decent multiplayer or Lan mods for it. Also any good must see mods for this, I never really got into the whole mods thing for this game.

	Oblivion is harder to mod than Skyrim or Morrowind. The reason for this is that the engine is a buggy and crashing piece of shit. You can mod Morrowind till your tits fall off (on OpenMW) but the Oblivion client is like dogshit wrapped up in dogshit. My complaining aside... ...this guy is guru of the people still playing it, and its the only guide I'd reccomend: Cheers bud! I love this game. Make sure to get out to the Shimmering Isles. It is some of the best RPG content anywhere.

	There's a main-quest delayer that's awesome and lets you skip the painfully long tutorial, other than that I never really used many mods, besides moding in some cooler weapons/armor for myself. But, then, I also played all those games with god-mode enabled, so my experiences may not be useful.

	I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

	Eventually you can "legitimately" craft yourself into god-mode, iirc. Never played it with any mods. The tutorial-skip sounds like a godsend, though. I'll echo WFB; The Shimmering Isles truly tickled my tits.
