2019 melee critical profiles

Critical profiles actualized with the new feat for comparison and build decisions. If something is wrong comment.

Base = basic with icrit and LD bonuses and OC assuming you hit on a 2. Needing to roll higher to hit means the criticals will weigh more on your dps assuming you have a generous bonus of seeker to confirm. Pulverizer and Headman's Chop apply when possible. Profile = number of times the damage/in 20 rolls + number of times seeker is being applied in 20 rolls. Pure barb means death frenzy is counted.

base 17-18/x3, 19-20/x5. Profile: 31/20 + 16 seeker

What about +1 artifact on multiplier on 19-20 when using the renegade set bonus?

Looks available on Daxe and Warhammer. Should stack.

EDIT: Assuming the feat won't affect Daxes, then the Warhammer would be the main thing to look at.

I don't get the seeker part. You add your seeker to your damage (before multipliers) on critical hits. Compared to base damage it scales with your "crit power" which in this example is 31/20. Compared to deadly, seeker scales at 11/20. Obviously the value of seeker (compared to deadly) goes up with a better critical threat range.

this part?
You hit 19 of your 20 attacks. (19/20)
You crit on 17-18 for x3 (add 4/20)
You crit on 19-20 for x5 (add 8/20)

So you have a "crit power" of 31/20.


I see. This is a much clearer explanation

One thing is missing here, though: Attack speed/attacks per second and the difference in those between twf, swf, and thf.

Oh and what about barb/wolf/sylvanius?

Yes. The point is that seeker scales more with more range: between 2 weapons with the same "crit power" the one with more range gets more out of seeker, but the difference is very little to make any difference in actual game DPS. I was using it more to check if I didn't commit a mistake in the math
