This anniversary event just gets more fun every year.

Still a bad nerf... That Lvl 5 armour was the Bee's Knees. Slotted with a medium Fort augment it made you nigh-unkillable until Ravenloft gear. Hell, it was still arguably the best in slot at Lvl 15 too.

They also killed the glasses, because I guess letting people grind useless novelty items mindlessly to unlock sentient weapon filigree slots was... OP?

I'm glad these clowns weren't my DM for PnP...

I mean its not the worst and most important nerf of all times issue.
I can imagine ten dozens other things they could fuckup that can have incomparable bigger impact than this one. not even counting lags and bugs. I mean no item can help you if you get lagmonstered for 10 minutes and if you get you whole TR cache wiped by bug the last thing you you would miss is this armor

Although, I can't help but think that no small part of Knight's Training was implemented because having some weapons wildly superior in performance severely restricted design options.

You couldn't come up with a  cool new longsword/battleaxe/warhammer/whatever because the denizens of the forums would scream it was wasted Dev time on s shit weapon nobody would use.

Also, if they're building Sharn off the "City of Towers" campaign, there were likely many weapons in there that wouldn't translate into DDO before Knight's Training.

So one feat solved all those problems.

Is there one point?  I disagree.  As with most threads, there are multiple people arguing about multiple different things in parallel.   

1)  You screwed up the release notes.  Grrrr.
2)  You nerfed this armor I worked hard for.   No fair.   I want my armor that makes me unhittable!  Give it back!  Give it back! (Xanthrawl and his boo Zhenvhex are in this crybaby camp)
3)  Heavy armor in general is in a bad place compared to robes/evasion builds.   The NoWorries was one of a few viable options in the game.   Rather than nerfing it, you should be buffing all other heavy armors (or looking at how to make heavy armor more viable on DPS builds).   Fix the root cause illness.  Not a symptom.
4)  The armor needed a nerf, but you took it too far.  It went from being too high to being at the low low end of the range for that level.   Change it to make the nerf a reasonable one.

The people in group 2 make the players look bad.  The other 3 points are valid ones.  But, as always, the valid points get drowned out by the whiners.
