You, I’m sure your thoughts on the wolf split work, it’s kind of hard to botch wolf it’s that good, but it is far from optimal/best dps.  And really, it’s not even close.

That seems curious though. I would have thought the extra crit from barb would pull ahead against the rotation from the 3 monk and t5 wolf.

It is Kensei t5. The monk rotations, stance, extra W, are really that good. It doesn't rage either. The drawbacks are no uncanny dodge, no blood feast temp hp swap, low mrr, and has to be centered. Also the whole twitching while going through non-stop monk attacks is the best way to ruin your wrists in this game.

A bit off topic, but do you guys think pure barb is better for leveling to 20? Cleaves feel so much better out of wolf form that it makes me think it might be worth it to just spam them, at least until i get winter wolf + fatal harrier.

All human, first life.

All placed 34 to 29 seconds. The monk version had the best peak of 24.9. I did not get to test the 11 Barb/ 8 druid/ 1 fvs splits.

Symb recorded a 20 second time on the 9/8/3. That was as a first lifer with consecrate and aasimar for better dps distribution on AP. That time was close to his barb wolf tests with in game builds on a fully maxed character.

Its dps is very high, extremely so and it does not utilize a single build exploit. The barb splits are just better all around though. And once the dps times get that low, the faster times of the monk split do not really mean that much. The difference of something doing a 20 second kill versus a 17 second kill, is largely negligible in game. The monk splits throw away uncanny dodge clicky, temp 1k hps, and 50 mrr just to deal more boss damage and net a couple of seconds on peak times.

The 8/6/6, to me is the most consistent boss dps machine we have currently, that also has way more survivable defensive mechanisms. It strings huge crits together constantly, just a stream of big large numbers floating.

They start to pull ahead after dust and vac are applied. The 8/6/6 has neither and yet still manages to put up flat out dumb times. 11barb/8/1 with Blackrazor is also a rival and also without vac/dust. It's a lot different on trash because the hp threshold is so low, and wolves crit for massive numbers on a wide to decent threat range and they get to attack fast.

Tronko on cannith is putting 19 on his 8/6/6 and it is pure in game spec'd. Not kobold ap and feats. Teth is at 22 on his 11b/8/1 with pure in game spec. Those are monster times. Things that even manage to get that close to rival it all have to utilize vacuum ( tempest/assassin/kensei ).

I think they were getting like 5k base hits ( lol ) on fully debuffed targets after dust/vac/ooze/rebuke/jade.
