Math is hard. Consider a melee attack that deals 100 damage in r10.
Current: 100 * 0.091 (reaper dmg reduction) * 2.5 (helpless base + combat brute + sense weakness + ship + 15% set) = 22.8 dmg.
New: 100 * 0.154 (reaper dmg reduction) * 1.95 (helpless 25% base + 20% combat brute + 30% sense weakness + 5% ship +15% set) = 30.03 dmg.

Blood Red. Fixed the math for both of you. Helpless trash DPS is getting a huge boost in R10. It's getting nerfed in heroics though. Poor heroic monks, no lube every single balance patch, and they sucked compared to warlocks to start with.
Cripey's Merciless Bloodbath: 100 * 0.154 (reaper dmg reduction) * 2.55 (helpless 25% base + 30% sense weakness + 5% ship +15% set +60% No Mercyx6 +20%HOrc) = 39.3
Caster dps is going up about the same amount.
Current: 100 Caster DPS * .076 R10 * 1.5 = 11.4
New: 100 Caster DPS * .154 New R10 * 0.85 (extra saves) * 1.25 (new helpless) = 16.36
The people that they are actually targeting to nerf are the heroic low reaper monks, melee bards, melee clerics, and melee FvS and their splashes. Those people are losing hp, losing damage, losing DC not made up since they don't have magistar yet, and making less xp per reaper streaked dungeon. While they do get to be 2 lvls higher, melee dps doesn't scale like casters in heroics, so it won't matter much.
