So Strake, a private citizen maintaining as a hobby a web site devoted to a game he hasn't played in years, went longer without a domain registration fail and recovered from the fail faster and with less interruption than the people who actually run the game as their livelihood? That, in a nutshell, is why DDO isn't a powerhouse in the RPG MMO world.

	Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

	No kidding, it actually expired? Or did you just see that the 10th was the date of renewal? Obviously, I have it set to auto-renew. But there was an issue on the first auto-renewal a decade ago, so ever since then I've gone and manually renewed before the date. This year I decided to let the auto-renew go through, as I've had several other related charges go through the automated system without issue. But if you guys saw it expire, maybe I still can't rely on the auto-renew. Hmmm.

	Yeah, it actually showed as expired around 8 or 9am. It was the whole "This domain has expired. Click here to register this domain" deal. I was tempted to perform the ultimate troll.

Though I have to wonder if it was actually expired during that window or if it was combination of poor auto-renewal policy and DNS propagation lag.
