Spicy Build-EK Monk (Read 2091 times)

	What do we think about an EK Monk? I was toying with making almost an 'on-hit' EK build. Either Monk or Swash where you try to maximize your Fire spell power and melee damage for the most on-hit damage. (Really just thinking of some fun stuff to play through tiefling lives that isn't just a nuker.) Any thoughts? Has anyone done similar builds? I have a build template that I made for the EK monk, I just can't decide on AP as how much I should invest in Pale master.

	Get enough in PM to get wraith form and a basic skellie pet. Then EK and Henshin for the rest. Race optional, but tiefling or dragonborn probably optimal. (i'd say Aasimar, but a EK PM build doesn't really need Aasimar heals)

I have a build template that I made for the EK monk, I just can't decide on AP as how much I should invest in Pale master. Just go full henshin if you want to have fun assuming you're going 1-30. Tiefling's scorch makes the various fire abilities of Henshin actually decent and fun.

	I assume he meant unarmed so as to maximize rate of fire. If you're going to do a stick build, I would splash rogue instead of monk for the stacking 15% attack speed. Maybe go Warforged so you don't have to tie up so many AP in PM when you want to be focusing on EK and Harper

	Yeah I thought of a stick build too, but I was thinking of trying handwraps? As buddy told me the t5 eldritch burst cleave works like whirlwind where monks with handwraps get a few procs of it instead of like normal cleaves.

You can throw as many crutches at a cripple as you like he still ain't running no marathons.
