I prefer falconry helpless damage over EK. Esoteric helps with the 70mrr cap. My BiS gear would probably be 4 piece hp/spell crit Shroud gear.

Medium armor and EK is the less advanced sorc setup. Definitely also viable.

Held and dead mobs don’t hurt you though.

Let’s say you’ve been doing racials as an election sorc mainly with some Fire lives. Let’s say you decide to spice it up and consider doing acid for a life. Don’t do that. That is all.
