Highest sustained Ranged dps build

Looking for a ranged dps build for low reaper raid bosses.
Previously ran the fighter 18/ arti 2 inquisitor pre nerf and
various rouge type splits with good results.
Also ran the rouge 11/bard 3/ranger 6 for a long time, also
pre nerf. Still worth going the thrower? Also did anyone mange to drop the 2 piece shroud set and get Feywild gear to slot in somehow? Cheers

I’m still running the thrower. I get 55-60kdps burst (before debuffs other than dust)
Sustained? Hard to say. Probably 30-40k on a raid boss before debuffs.
I’m quite confident now that fury > shiradi for raids.
Adrenaline has lower CD and regens such that you get it more often than hunts end.

If you're looking for a no-brainer type build try 18 rogue/2 art mechanic(check 5 foot's "U29 Mech" thread, about page 5 I think). Its nice because you don't have to manage a bunch of cool downs, ya just point and click.
Ok Know the Angels, but other than that...
I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

Haven't really messed with fury that much, will try it out. Notice a few running shadow dancer in raids, not sure why ? I guess consume and the insta kills are good. However not sure of the damage output compared to shiradi in a raid. You would think shiradi would be better, haven't tried it either to be honest.
I ran with Valk (Khyber) and he was straight ranger thrower. Nice boss de-buff on 5 core, he did really well with it. Most likely just go the 11/3/6 I think, thanks.

I honestly haven't tested Shadow Dancer much. I'm pretty sure it's lower. But you get the specials.

I ran 20 ranger on Khyber for a long while when I was still playing last year. Talked about it here a bit but not too many people were into it. I thought all around it was a really strong thrower build. Infinite SA range in SD was pretty nice, but 90% I was in FOTW
Also if you pick your FE's right + AP + Twists you can have like 10-11 FE's for like +25 damage against FEs with bonuses. Really strong and that can cover A LOT of mobs/bosses

it's a knife thrower, using swashbuckling, lots of SA dice, assassins trick, imp/uncanny dodge, etc, Sniper shot in Shiradi/FOTW

Add to that, dex build, improved evasion, super high reflex saves, can trap, bluff pull with gear.
Only thing I didn't like was the limited healing ability, you can pick up cocoon, but then miss some of the nice tier 1 ext dmg and action boost twists. Great kiting build with leg shot. MoM is a really long cool down compared to NBH. Possible after the nerf inquisitor may pull ahead, no idea really having played an inquisitor for ages.

How is it in terms of sustained vs. burst? A lot of these ranged builds seem to focus heavily on managing several different overlapping abilities, so you get insanely high bursts of DPS when venus is in retrograde, but the day-to-day use is not great.

One of the dudes I run with sometimes is rocking a modern fury monkcher. Still legit! He's a very high-level player. Probably out-killing me on 75% of quests. Pretty sick.
They get more uptime on burst (Manyshot + 10K)
It was a wis-build. I know he had 6 monk and majority ranger levels. I don't remember what else was in the split.

I've been on khyber for 13 years, I know almost everyone I'm just curious who it is. I also am looking at monkcher builds with Rubbins right now so just collecting builds at the moment.
Meat you can DM if you don't who I am on khyber yet, happy to let you know. We've probably run together a lot without knowing it. Though I haven't really been consistently playing for a year now
