Build Theorycraft time

So a while back I played a 13wiz/5arti/2monk build and had a really fun time with it. Played it for 2 straight lives in fact, but I digress. It was the only ranged/melee/spellcaster that ever really worked, and was fun because you could switch around APs and make basically anything you wanted. The build however did not scale well into reapers(as some builds do not) but it was a fun leveling/grinding build.

I'm now toying with spinning up an alt on something similar, this time subbing out the monk lvls for either fighter or barbarian. I know barb has fast movement which is fun, but fighter would let me build on a bladeforged with a +1 heart. Whatever the character is its going to end up being WF or BF.

Anyone have any other thoughts or considerations?

Any of appropriate R10 builds will excel at this a hundred fold.
