Ok so suffering has the same debuffs, so those cancel
You get basically 38.5 extra effect dmg per hit from crimson
You get 35 extra effect dmg from crimson and vet pain.

So it comes down to

Slay living vs Sov Vorpal (tough call)—vorp works on bosses tho (15 extra dmg on avg)

Pain = +.5[w] + Vulnerable
Crimson = 63.5 effect dmg


If no one else has vulnerable, P&S clearly win
Let’s use a dmg mod and MP to check tho

150 dmg mod (pulled from rear)
200 melee power

Pain gets 170 dmg from the .5w
AND the sneak dmg scales 25*2*1.5=75 sneak dmg

Seems clear to me that P&S wins overall.

Crimson MIGHT be better for trash if the proc has a good rate. Plus you get vampirism.

The slay effect has no save. So that’s cool. But it has an unknown HP cap
according to a dev post.
