	Ok, I noticed I have some mirrors in my shared bank won thanks to the daily dice and was thinking about making some nice cosmetics. One of the items I wanted to copy is this one https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Sphere_of_Silver_Flame_Essence Since cosmetics can override weapon types as long as they match the fighting style (i.e you can make a greatsword look like a falchion or a long sword look like a bastard sword) I thought it would be pretty cool to make my throwers use the animation for the essences of the silver flame BUT, here's the thing, according to the wiki that got this information from someone here on the vault (gg to whoever pointed this out) https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Tesyus specifically Quote: This is an in-quest only item and drops upon leaving the adventure. It is suggested that you not use a Mirror of Glamering on this item, as you will lose the cosmetic once you exit this dungeon. Flametongue uses the same model, you have to replace the fiery aura with one of your choosing, for example holy. DDO Vault I can only assume I will lose the cosmetic for the "holy balls" as well? Anyone knows or tried this?

	I haven't tried it but with the way DDO is codded it could easily go either way. I've got a shitload of mirrors because... reasons... if you give me some time I can try it out for you. Also of note: Flametongue and Tesyus do NOT use the "same" model, the model for Tesyus is much bigger. Try it sometime, flametongue looks like a firggin letter opener, really irritating. The best part about Tesyus is how high over the character's head it reaches.

	Bad news: can't even glamor the silly things. They come back "no match found" in the mirror interface.

	IIRC, mirrors don't work on any thrower in the first place. They also don't copy the aura/particle effect, you have to buy a cosmetic aura.

	i strongly remember glamering some fucking envelope or playing card or something, so i currently disagree with people saying throwers cannot be glamered. in fact i remember with confidence laughing about watching the cards turn into daggers in the air or when they hit the ground or something

Actually they do copy the aura. I've tried this a couple of months ago on a random generated greatsword (yes, I like one of the random generated models for greatswords) and the mirror copied the flaming burst aura that was attached to it. It copies the exact cosmetic variant of whatever you put it into. Now that you made me remember it, I want to try the illusory weapon aura that I got from feywild saga.

	I know that I use lamplighter graphics and when I pull out the bow they disappear. But they work for any 2 weapons that I equip albeit with an error message. But it works. I tried doing stuff like glamering a 2h weapon in each hand, nope. Plus I tried overriding the lamplighter graphic with say, lighting to match my beautiful eyes and nothing over writes the red flame, but will add another slight effect that shows up in a lesser way inside, below , etc with the flame still there. I have a similar setup for other weapons. Basically gotta find some weapon graphics you like and copy it as long as it’s the same, umm, style? It will show up. The stuff I was talking about above was glamouring then changing the effects with the other effect mirror glamour thingies.

	So yeah you can cosmetic Return to Sender but it turns into whatever when it leaves your hand.
