I turned in my quests in Borderlands after dicking around on Hardcore a little bit and I got an ML5, Caster level 5 Searing Light clicky as one of my turn-in rewards. Borderlands was made a long time after SSG stopped giving clicky random gen loot, so this may be a new thing? A bug? A super rare drop like a double augment slot metallic weapon? Who knows.  Was weird enough that I thought I'd mention it here.

You can still (rarely) get random gen spell clickies in certain end reward lists. Usually it's the ones with the chance for named item drops in them, like WW, red fens, catacombs (possibly not catacombs anymore after epicification.) Sharn Syndicate quests are also a good source for them (because each of them only includes a certain item type in their list) and I think the Antique Bronze Token turn in in Menechtarun works as well.
