Rodger wrote What concerns me with regard to encouraging and enabling SSG, is that they don’t strike me as being the most imaginative thinkers at senior level and appear to be somewhat entrenched in their views. Therefore there is still potential that they may steer LOTRO off a cliff if left unchecked. Perhaps what SSG requires is an injection of fresh talent and for LOTRO to be put in the hands of those who have a more aspirational view of its future potential. As ever, only time will tell but it is pleasant to have some hope in the interim.

	Except that he's talking of LoTRO... I really really really would prefer that he talked about DDO that way. While I have nothing against LoTRO... I did an overdose of Tolkien 25ish years ago after spending years of gamemastering MERP ( and Rolemaster in Middle Earth )... I was so down the hole that I was writing stuff in Elvish ( Cirth/tengwar ) and Reading Books like Lays of Beleriand as soon as they were edited. ( Yes I did reat that monster... Olde English for several hundred pages... as a Frog... ) So I'm trying to stay mostly afar from anything Middle Earth related to avoid going back down the hole.

I think that's the bigger point. The fact that they can't even do THAT much. Also add in how long we have to spend staring at the screens when we get stuck.
