	You can stop reading where the article talks about Neverwinters "new Sharandar" as a plus, that mod revamp is a shit show that highlights the massive endgame problem with NWO. It's literally pay to win, with almost no viable options to play to win. You either buy stuff outright from their store or farm AD and buy it from the AH. Both DDO and NWO have very serious endgame problems, DDO's focus on past lives and forcing the player base to focus on one or two toons is going to be it's downfall. That is, if Shitstar doesn't destroy the game first. I don't see a path for either game honestly, the baked in mistakes are probably unfixable...

	Well letting people write game reviews without having actually played the game will do that. I've been reading MassivelyOP lately, unfortunately when they do cover DDO its clearly the same. Just repeating hype from the motherboards. What really sucks is you just don't get coverage for niche MMOs. A site like MassivelyOP will cover cutting edge shit thats not out yet, and whatever is the most popular right now. And that's it. So if you're looking for a new game to try and you think WoW is shit and you can't get past the gendered classes of Black Desert... good luck finding anything.

And every class is restricted to a specific gender. So for example Paladins are female. I have no fucking clue why they do this, but it was enough to limit my tour of BDO to about 15 minutes. If I can't play whatever class I please and still have a dong, I'm not playing your game.

A halfling Paladin is visibly no different from a halfling sorcerer, except by the gear they wear. I think BDO only made this work by dropping races entirely. Literally my only take-away from playing it was that its the first game I've ever experience with a rising and falling waves mechanic. Once I figured out that shit with the classes I knew I wasn't going to play the game, so I said "fuck this" to the starting area and just ran off. I spent about 20-30 minutes just running, exploring the world, being able to run slightly faster than the mobs and being slightly too retarded for the PvPers to waste a bullet on. Dove into the ocean, had a nice long swim, really enjoyed the water mechanics. That was it.
