Toons are NOT more powerful.

All they did was essentially like taking a kid capable of being the head of an honors physics class, hitting him in the head multiple times with a pipe wrench to cause significant and permanent brain injury, then putting him in a class full of retards and mixed vegetables for dumbed down competition, and then finally declaring him head of THAT class.

That is one of the nice things about DDO - if you aren't interested in gear, you can always just turn the difficulty down and play whatever you want.

Tanks feel similar to me. Admittedly I didn't deep dive them yet for any hidden interactions.

First impression is Undying is still pretty necessary as the main tree. It did lose some HP, but it got some flexibility and nice passives. I can't see anything too good to make up for your loss with the new system that you couldn't do with twists - Exalted, Dreadnaught, Crusader, all look pretty bland at the 15-20 points range for a tank. Maybe 1 good ability in each, but you could twist those in the past.

Maybe it improved? I dont have a horse in this race, but when you look at the broad picture most archetypes are weaker. Melee DPS with old dreadnaught / FoTW, Nukers who used to be able to twist energy burst, etc.
